The baby crafting continues....

Over the past while I have made a few new crocheted baby hats. I tried some different patterns, and loved them both! Will definitely be making them again.

Crochet baby newsboy hat

The first one is the "Buy Me 'Papes, Sir" newsboy hat. First off - I love the movie Newsies (give me a young, singing Christian Bale any day!) and so there was no way I could not make this pattern. I used a double strand of Caron Simply Soft in white and mint to make it a bit thicker, and accented with red buttons.

This hat is going to my lovely friends Jen and Mark who are expecting in February!

I made the next hat using the crochet knot pattern from Repeat Crafter Me. I love the knot on top! I made this using Lion Brand Vanna's Choice in blue, and accented with a white heart as the pattern called for.

This hat is getting mailed to my cousin who is expecting a boy in the next couple of months. I sure hope it fits! Judging newborn hat sizes is always a gamble.

Guess what? We actually have a non-crochet project we are sharing very soon! Stay tuned!
